Bow Photos
The Classic Takedown Recurve is a three-piece takedown recurve bow. It is called the “Classic” because it is a classic, modern, hunting recurve bow design. When I designed this bow, I wanted to combine all of the features of the best professional takedown recurve bows into one bow with the best combination of performance, stability, and longevity. The riser is a straight design which provides a good combination of balance and stability. The grip is located at bow center and the shelf is nestled close above of the bow hand. The sight window is cut just past center so the arrow rests in a center shot position. The unstrung limbs have a classic hook-shaped side view profile like the best hunting and target bows. The tips have phenolic overlays which allow the use of high performance, low stretch strings. And, last but not least, there are plenty of fiberglass and wood overlays on the riser back which add strength.

Brent scores BIG with his Classic Takedown Recurve
My friend Brent scored big on this nice 10 point buck with a Classic Takedown Recurve bow and a Sitka Spruce wood arrow. It is a 64″ bow that pulls 70#@28″.
